Ajith Prasad founded Fintrust, an independent banking and financial consultancy based in Ajman, UAE, after nearly three decades inside the UAE banking and financial services industry. Fintrust exists to close the gap between businesses and the right financial institution - helping startups, SMEs, and enterprises secure business bank accounts, funding, and banking solutions quickly, drawing on the relationships, market knowledge, and instincts Ajith built over 25+ years in the sector.
Most recently, as Manager of Issuance and Acquiring at Mercury Payment Services LLC, Ajith led the migration of card portfolios onto the UAE's national JAYWAN network and built new partnerships with fintechs, NBFCs, and exchange houses across the region. Earlier in his career, he held leadership roles at some of the region's most established financial institutions - including Standard Chartered, Dunia Finance, Banque Misr, and National Bank of Dubai - building and leading sales teams, managing multi-product portfolios, and consistently turning market opportunity into measurable growth.
